So today I was reading an article about Jon Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity and in the article it mentioned a study done in 2007 (not immediately current, granted, but I would easily bet that the findings still hold up).
Turns out that the people in the country who are the MOST knowledgeable about politics and current events are…viewers of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. Seriously. Check out the numbers:
Maybe this is because smart people (we the viewers) are drawn to other smart people (Stewart and Colbert) who make them use their brain and actually think (and conversely, not drawn to babbling talking heads and idiotic pundits).
Funny that FOX news viewers are almost at the bottom. Not surprising though. They are one stupid bunch. Seriously.
